The 10th biennial International Conference on Scientometrics and Informetrics is under the auspices of the International Society of Scientometrics and Informetrics (ISSI) and co-chaired by Umeå University, Sweden, and University College, Borås, Sweden.

The most recent ISSI conferences took place Colima, Mexico (1999), Sydney (2001), and Beijing (2003). The objective is to promote and present original research of Scientometric and Informetric nature, including Bibliometrics, Webometric and other quantitative studies of information.
