| The
role of the International Office is to coordinate and administrate
international activities at Umeå University. In order to
support and develop this work, the International Office works
closely with international coordinators at faculty and departmental
level.
Umeå
University recently adopted a plan for internationalization for
the period 2003-2008. This means a markedly increased level of
ambition in using international collaboration to obtain the highest
possible quality in all activities at the university. Click

European
Policy Statement
The
International Office is an active partner in a number of international
programs, projects and networks such as:
Nordplus, Sokrates/Erasmus, Linneaus-Palme, Leonardo da Vinci,
Leonet.
The
International Office cooperates with universities from USA, Australia,
New Zealand, Mexico, Canada, China, India, within the field of
student/teacher/research exchanges.
International Club
The International Club is a meeting point for people
with a global interest and who are curious about other cultures.
The International Club is a virtual organization and joint project
between Umeå University and the City of Umeå. The
aim is simply to make it possible for people to meet at different
places in Umeå.
