In the grey bar on the right are navigation functions and specific links belonging to the page in question. The university logo is linked to the university home page.

The coloured plate visible on most pages has links to a search engine where you can search the contents of the university´s entire website. 

In the plate, there is also contact information about the unit, as well as a link to the university´s searchable staff directory. 

From the navigation menu below the plate the central parts of Umeå University´s website can be reached.There are also gateways for different target groups, e. g foreign students. 

The footer 

The footer shows when the informaton was last checked. There is also an e-mail link to the person responsible for the page contents. 

Printing

Many pages are somewhat wider than the A4 format. The part that will be cut away in printing is a part of the right hand bar containing navigation information.
