Carina Keskitalos forskning fokuserar på institutionell

nordligt miljösamarbete. Keskitalo arbetar också
20% vid institutionen för skoglig naturresurshushållning,
SLU Umeå.
Carina Keskitalo's research focuses on institutional adaptation
to climate change with examples from multi-level cases and
forest systems, as well as on international northern environmental
cooperation. Carina Keskitalo is also working 20% at the
Department for Forest Resource Management, Swedish University
of Agricultural Sciences, Umeå.

and resilience of coupled socio-ecological systems in multi-use
forests. Research project led by Carina Keskitalo
(co-applicant Associate Professor Jon Moen, Department of
Ecology and Environmental Science, Umeå University,
Sweden), funded by The Swedish Research Council for Environment,
Agricultural Sciences and Spatial Planning FORMAS 2007-2010.

adaptation to climate change in Europe: can models and premises
for increased adaptive capacity be identified?
Led by Associate Professor Carina Keskitalo, funded by Vetenskapsrådet
(Swedish Research Council, VR).
January 2009-December 2012. Forest Governance
in Future Forests. Subproject led by Carina
Keskitalo, within the Future Forests research programme
funded by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Environmental
Research MISTRA and the forest industry.

Barry Smit, Canada Research Chair in Human Dimensions of
Global Change, University of Guelph, Canada.

resource-based communities to climatic and societal changes
- Sami reindeer herding in the past, present and future.
Research school led by Jon Moen, Umeå University (Keskitalo
as co-applicant) funded by the Sustainable development –
interdisciplinary research with a focus on the environment
call under VR, FORMAS and the Swedish National Space Board.
January 2008-December 2010. Local development
based on tradition and new actions in family forests: hinders
and opportunities. Research school led by
Gun Lidestav, Swedish University of Agricultural Science
(Keskitalo as co-applicant), funded by the FORMAS Landsbygdsutveckling
